Perfectly seasoned pasta and steak, and the portions were generous. Loved everything about it.

Half Chicken blew my mind so good, great seasoning. Halal Buffalo Fries were great as usual. Everything was fresh and warm portions are huge. I love ordering from here love the consistency

Overall: Meh. The chicken was fine, bland crust, didn't like the red sauce. The bbq sauce was ok. Fries, unsalted & wilted, altho some managed to retain some crunch. But the baasto was so disappointing. It had that dryness of undersauced pasta that's been left on the stove for a while. And the portion was big. A whole clamshell of dry bland noodles. The creamy hot sauce marginally improved it.
I've been trying to find a Somali place as good as Cafe Royale used to be. In its heyday, their baasto was glorious. Best pasta I'd ever had. The sauce had a light but bold and bright flavor to it & enough oil that the noodles never felt dry. But when I last went, the place had turned into a dark, dingy grocery store w/some rickety tables, & the baasto was bland. 😭 After Cafe Royale, Faridas was the next best option, though their baasto wasn't as flavorful. So I was all happy to find another Somali place, only to be disappointed by the blandness. Not ordering again. The baasto search continues.

Always delicious, large portions, fresh food. My favorite food is their half chicken and goat. This restaurant is amazing and i would order again.

I order from here pretty much every week it is so delicious way better quality than most places. The portions are huge I highly recommend getting the buffalo fries or pretty much anything on the menu.
