Chicken Over RICE is best in DC. Good portion, spot on sauces. Falafel is a miss - spiced right but fry isn't made to travel and isn't the best, the other proteins just outshine. Would order again in a heartbeat

I love shah's halal food especially the combo over Combo over RICE (Lamb (contains beef) & Chicken)
Always a delight to have it and never disappoints. Highly fresh and the portion size is just amazing!
However, today I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the chicken was undercooked and slightly bland. Could and definitely should be improved.

The lamb is cubed and not carved but the Lamb Gyro (all lamb) still had great flavor. only thing i really didnt like was how dried out the bread was. it was very tough. Watch out for the red sauce! It's spicy! (but delicious) Baklava was alright. a bit soggy, too much walnuts in comparison to the pastry but still yummy. I'd eat here again, just hope the bread wont be stiff again.

The food was delicious I really enjoyed the taste when I mixed lamb together. I ate it for four days. The lamb & beef was excellent I will be ordering again

The Lamb (contains beef) over RICE was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! This was our first time ordering here and I will be a lifelong customer now. Fresh ingredients, Followed order notes and very nice portions of food. I never even knew this place existed..I will also frequent the restaurant in person too. ORDER FROM THEM NOW!!
