Mom's Garlic Chicken was so fresh and tasty. Such a generous portion for the price. Not greasy at all. I order food from Kau Kau so often and they're always so tasty and reliable

The Loco Moco was very salty and Mac salad as well with a mustardly flavor. Requested extra gravy to a surcharge of $4. Really? NVM!!
And 1 musubi for $5+ dollars?! Really? You can get a better deal elsewhere (for 2each)!!
The hostess (girl) was very unprofessional with a "cockiness" answering of the phone, "who is this?!"
Do Not Order from here if you value your appetite and moneys worth!

In the Hawaiian Combo the Tako luau had almost no tako.
Okay.
Then salmon in the Lomi was nearly non-existent and rubbery, and tasted like pico de gallo. Both that and the tako were in tiny sauce cups.
There was a tiny bit of small chicken bits in the noodles. The pork was bland and also full of veg.
I will not be ordering from here again.

The sides were solid; it's always nice when the rice and mac salad are prepared well. It was a large portion which justified the price. My one critique is that I had to eat around some less-satisfying bits in order to get to the really good stuff (specifically on the garlic chicken and the rolls). Everything came in good composition; nothing was soggy; some of it seemed slightly overcooked and dark but I would take that before it being undercooked. I would try it again however I would order something else.

Chicken had great flavor, portion small for price. Ordered side mac salad and was disappointed on what I received, didn't hit the spot, bland and had chuncks of potato which I didn't care for and small portion.
