When i was growing up in San Francisco wehad a "Vikings" sandwich shop on Ocean Avenue. No one, and I mean no one made a hot pastrami sandwich like they Viking's is long gone butthe memory remains. Have not found anything close until Sourdough & Co. the hot pastrami here is phenomenal. the bread surpasses that which Vikings used to have but everything else steps upto the plate. The meat is sumptuous. Thick. So much flavor. House sauce is an added bonus. The #6 Pastrami hot is my go-to. Highly recommend. Soooo good. Absolute perfection 💜

Portion size is small for the price for te French dip sandwich. Taste is good but they also foot the au jus for it. May not order it again for the price and amount of filling. Paid extra for more meat and it dosent look like it.

The best thing was the Cookies. Pretty fire but the sandwich was like biting through leather. If you get a cold sandwich the sourdough is not soft enough to eat comfortably. You have to tear away with your canines and then chew with max jaw strength to initiate mechanical digestion. With some softer bread this could be a good sandwich but to be named Sourdough & Co and the sourdough be the worst part of the sandwich is crazy.

The portion was like 1/4th a cup the sandwich small for 38.00 no thank you
