I was thrilled to find a place that makes Mousaka! I tried to order it during the week but I believe this is a weekend only deal which I get: it's not a difficult dish to make but it has a lot of steps, it's time consuming, and it really isn't good if it's been made too far in advance. This was good but not great. It was a good size serving but it wasn't made today - it was delivered at 11:45am. It did come with a large serving of roasted Brussel sprouts which I like, but had no idea they were included. For $24 dollars I was expecting what I used to get at a place that quit making Mousaka. It was dry, not many layers, the bechmal sauce on top had lost its loft and was very dense, and there were breadcrumbs on top for some reason. I will order from this place again but I'll try something else. Granted, there are MANY versions of this dish, but this one was not to my liking and tasted like it had been frozen and reheated based on the density, dryness and the condition of the topping. It also appears that the Brussel sprouts were added because the portion of Mousaka was on the smaller side. Give it a try, maybe it's what you like, it just wasn't wet enough for me, definitely could have used more meat sauce and more layers.

I walked over to pick up my order. The order sat for 20 min w 3 staff checking the kitchen and order was on a side table while I was there. TERRIBLE burger even if it weren't cold. Meh on the baklava.
