This was my first time having Haitian food and I absolutely loved everything we got. The beef and chicken Patties were sooo good and flavorful. It was buttery from the puff pastry, but deeply flavorful from the filling. I did not expect to like the Chicken as much as we did, it was a soo delicious and they were huge! I did not expect it to be that big! My son who's a picky eater cleaned his plate. The Mac and cheese and rice and beans were subtle, which was needed to balance the chicken! It wasn't oily at all and the chicken fell off the bone! And their Tropical Juice and Passion Fruit (Grenadia) were the perfect drinks to pair with it all because it was tangy and not too sweet. We are definitely coming back again.

As much as I love trying new foods, this one did not land for me.
Ribs pork: 4/10. Pretty good meat, but the spices were just not for and there was a solid half cup of oil at the bottom of the dish. Mac and cheese was really good, but I could only eat a little because the oil from the pork was covering it as well. Slaw was just okay. Whatever sauce was sent with the pork in its own container was not good to me, and full of oil as well.
Beef Patties: 6/10. These were better, but after the second one, the spices (again) sort became not so great to me. I love the puff pastry though.
Kokiyol: 6/10. I liked these. I was expecting them to be thick and soft like donuts, but they are more flat and crunchy like a cookie. Good flavor, but I prefer donut texture.
Overall, I think a lot of people will like this! It just wasn't my favorite. :)

This is my favorite spot in Provo. Taste like a home cooked meal. I go at least twice a month. Be prepared for a little wait since everything is fresh
