Order 4 rolls and a small sashimi. Rolls were very delicious and portion size were good. I especially love the Chef Special roll which was perfectly spicy with lots of spicy sashimi topping. Sashimi was fresh. I would definitely order from this place again.

I ordered Okonomiyaki and gyoza. The okonomiyaki was made well and tasted delicious, albeit not quite as good as the ones in Japan. At the price point I was also expecting a little more shrimp and bonito flakes.
The gyoza dough was cooked to perfection, not too sticky, not too crunchy.
Everything was fresh and hot when it arrived.
I am anxious to try ramen next time.

During & after the Covid years, Tenjin was my 2-3X/wk go-to place. The food, owners & staff were consistently exceptional. I like that menu has expanded but other changes were not improvements IMO & do not justify the extreme price increases. Recipe changes to my favorite menu items ie okonomiyaki (oversauced, overseasoned), garlic butter fried rice is unrecognizable from before, now looks/tastes like all the other fried rices on the menu. I generally believe that "change is good." However for me as a very local, loyal customer Tenjin no longer stands out from other ramen/Japanese venues. I've tried all my previous favorite dishes & they're no longer favorites.

The spicy chicken wasn't spicy . But the issue was the chicken was overcooked , very tough . Maybe because the container has no vents and the steam overcooks the meat .
