hibachi shrimp & scallops was really good especially with the yum yum sauce! i enjoyed the crab rangoon (6 pc) although they didn't have much filling inside.

Steak is dry, chicken overcooked. They forgot my sauces the last couple times which ruins the meal. They consistently miss your sides. The crab Rangoon was burned bad this time.
This used to be a favorite of ours. Now the portions are half what they used to be and it's 30% more expensive for food that's prepared poorly.
If it was 10$ a plate I would understand more, but they want 20$. For that the food needs to be at least decent and some quality control on getting the order right.

I've ordered from Hibachi blue a few times (both through DoorDash and at the restaurant), and they seem to be very consistent, at least with the hibachi chicken and steak! A good amount of veggies and meat (those are in the large area of the takeout tray and rice is in the smaller sections), only note is that the meat and veggies seem to be oily and/or watery (a lot of liquid left behind in the tray after removing the meat and veggies).

would definitely recommend going to a small family owned spot instead, vegetables were undercooked, fried rice wasn't even fried, small portion of meat just overall disappointing.

I've ordered from this restaurant many times over the years. This time the portions were much smaller than usual. I also paid for 2 extra sauces, which I didn't get. The 2 containers of sauce that I did get weren't even halfway full. Disappointing experience. The food is good, but no longer worth the price for what you actually are getting.
