• 26-07-30the Double Bacon Cheeseburger and the ShackBurger were both cooked just right and were tasty. The Bacon Cheese Fries were ok. the fries themselves were good, but i felt there wasn't that much bacon and the cheese sauce was OK. Next time I will probably go with just the fries.
I did like the fact both burgers had a paper wrap which made them easier to eat.

First, RE the food... There is a whole lot of nothing special here and it's overpriced in a five guys kind of way. $15 for the basic burger and fries ? Are you kidding me?
My first encounter with Shake Shack was a carry out order. Took forever a and they weren't that busy. They just dropped the unwrapped food into a cardboard tray and then into a huge bag. No napkins, no ketchup. I had to ask for both. Same today with the DD order. Again, no napkins, no ketchup. I mean if someone is ordering fried a at least you can do is OFFER ketchup.
As for the fries, on the carryout visit I saw that they had the crinkle cuts which made me very happy. I love crinkle cuts e especially if they cook them extra crispy. After getting my fries today, I now know they did nothing extra last time. Same fries.
As for the burger, one would think for the extra time it took from order to delivery that the burger would be friesh. Sure doesn't taste it. Tastes like someone made a batch of burgers in the morning and then reheated/ grilled up to serve.
End of the day, while certainly a serviceable lunch, I would rather drive another 5 minutes down the road to Freddy's. Their burgers are fresh and are actually a smash burger and lunch with a drink is about $12.

• 25-12-27Other burger joints taste better. The burgers are too dry and tasteless. Prices are too high for a small bacon cheeseburger. Will not order again.

• 26-05-17We usually love shake shack but today was a complete miss. Got 4 burgers and 2 fries for a total of over $60 and couldn't finish a single item. The burgers all had hard bits of gristle and some even harder pieces that felt like bone. The fries hard and dry and inedible as well. Super disappointed and huge waste of a lot of money.
