The Cantonese Fried Noodle was amazing! Very generous portion overall and tons of the protein - chicken, shrimp, squid and beef! Tasted incredibly fresh. House of Gourmet is the go-to Chinese food I've been looking for. I'll definitely be ordering this item again!

The Steamed Rice Roll with Fresh Shrimp/鮮蝦腸粉 are a little pricey, but this is my favourite place from which to order them. They are always filling and tasty. I wish you could order extra sauce though.
The Pork Wonton Soup/豬肉雲吞湯 was hot and is good for the price.
The Hot Hong Kong Style Milk Tea/熱香港式奶茶 is nice and creamy, strong flavoured but not too sweet like a lot of what you sometimes get here.

I was very disappointed with this order. It’s been about a year since I last ordered from this restaurant and it’s clear that portion sizes and quality of the food have both since taken a turn for the worse. Barbeque pork should be a religious experience. But in tonight's Two Kinds of BBQ Meat/燒味雙拼, the BBQ Pork was tough, chewy, and seriously lacking in flavour. Thank goodness the roast duck was better-than-palatable, saving my dinner from being utterly ruined. As for the Crispy Spring Roll (Pork and veg) (1)/脆皮炸春卷 (1) roll (the quantity -aka 1 per order- of which came as a surprise given the $3 price tag, and the anaemic/ridiculously small roll size) it bit the overall theme of "disappointing " that came with this meal. Finally, the Sweet Chinese Donut/牛利酥 was certainly not sweet (even by Asian standards) and certainly not delicious. It tasted of oil with a tiny bit of sugar sprinkled on for good effect.

Food was good (not great).
Portions for the rice (good but bland) and veggies were normal, meat portion was small (good flavour), and everything was ridiculously overpriced.
1 Rice, 1 veg, 1 meat and a couple of Spring rolls was $100.

The roasted duck on rice was juicy and delicious and the seasonal veg was well steamed and tender. I got a large portion and was hoping for more duck, but it was still a decent size. Would recommend (ideally to pick up or dine-in; WAY cheaper that way.
