My wife and I wanted to try something new, and despite seeing a 3.5-star rating, we decided to give Off Square Brewing a shot. I’m glad we did because it turned out to be a great decision.
I originally ordered coleslaw, but they were out. Instead of just leaving it off the order, they included a handwritten note explaining what happened and hoped we’d enjoy the fries instead. They even mentioned we could request a refund through DoorDash if we wanted.
Normally, I probably would have requested the refund, but the handwritten note was such a thoughtful touch that it completely changed my perspective. It showed they genuinely cared about making things right. And to be fair… those fries were outstanding.
I did my part and tried to eat healthy. Apparently, the good Lord had other plans and wanted me to have fries instead.
The food was excellent, the customer service stood out, and small gestures like that make a big difference. We’ll definitely be ordering again, and we’re looking forward to visiting the restaurant in person.
