prawns were great but there were only 5. bok choi was well seasoned without being too salty. papaya salad was refreshing

The caramel chicken Caramel Chicken Wings were so overcooked that the meat was inedible. I usually love chicken wings but couldnt even finish these. I liked the Cỏm Chiên Sài Gỏn (Saigon Southern Fried Rice) (it is sweetened with coconut I think) but I found burnt eggshells in it. I was able to get around them though.

The caramel chicken was over cooked and burnt. And the fried rice is sweetened with coconut. Not something I would have ordered had I known.

Hands down, the best restaurant in Detroit. For lonely-night takeout or huge family feasts, Flowers of Vietnam will consistently knock your socks off.

Curry Chicken Banh Mi both sandwiches had raw chicken and had to be re-cooked. Very disappointed.
