• 24-03-12The Corned Beef & Cabbage meal is delicious! The perfect Irish dinner! I've only been able to get it around St. Patrick's Day. I wish The Burren offered it all year round!

• 25-04-14In general I am a bit disappointed with the fish&chips here. I had more side salad than entree. Not enough fries and the fish batter was chewy.
In detail:
2 pieces of fish (that's a fine quantity) BUT the batter?! Felt like I was eating thick-chewy fried dough. It's like they used FLAT beer in the batter, the carbonation is supposed to make the batter light and crispy WHILE ADDING flavor. I barely got a hand full of fries there's like 10 on the plate (I hadn't even eaten any before I took the picture for this review). Salad was fine but if I wanted a salad for dinner I would've just ordered that.
I gave 2 stars because I hope they do better in the future but WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN. I plated up the food in the pic real nice beforehand to get points on here.

• 24-12-23Caesar Salad - five or less croutons and very little cheese. Sweet Basket of Sweet Potato Fries - extrmely soggy and threw away. More akin to mashed sweet potatoes. Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla - 4/5 stars, tasty though very oily.
I've eaten at The Burren many times and the food was below the standard for them (or expectation any customer should have for their food for takeout).

• 24-11-28We didn't receive the Chicken Fingers but it's probably just as well. There was barely any fish in the Fish & Chips , and the batter was greasy and gross. The Homemade Clam Chowder was slimy and tasted off, too.
I've eaten at The Burren for years, and always enjoyed their food. Tonight's meal (at least what they delivered from the meal we ordered) was disgusting.

• 26-03-13The Bangers and Mash were delicious. Freshly mashed potatoes, tasty sausages, very savory gravy, and plenty of bacon. I would have liked more cabbage, but otherwise it was perfect.
