The food is always on point! The caldo de res/ Beef Soup is always delicious, and the only place I order caldo from. The cheese Cheese Enchiladas Platters always hit the spot, too.

This owner's restaurants have been our favorites for years. The quality of the food is consistent. The beef fajita meat is flavorful and tender. We are never cheated on quantity. The queso and salsa are spicy and consistent in texture. Whether we go to El Jacalito in person or order for delivery , the food is always great.

Didn't take a before picture just know it looks exactly like the picture when you order but the caldo de rez was a 10/10 and came with a side of rice which I poured right into the bowl. I got a sprite on the side and overall was the perfect portion size. I saved what I couldn't finish for later. (I could've probably finished it but I'd be too stuffed). It had potatoes, cabbage, squash, carrots, beef. All very fresh and would definitely order again!

The gorditas barely had any fajita meat in it, and the beans were super salty, and very small portion of rice i was kind of disappointed. I loved that they put guacamole with it tho, and glad they gave me a cup of salsa, but other than that i don't think i'd order from this place again, it just gave very stingy vibes

I had a taco salad and tortilla soup. Both were super mid and bland. The prices seemed good til I saw the portions. food was small and definitely not delicious
