I love the Oyster Sampler with its 6 oysters. The Pan Roasted Double Cut Hatfield Pork Chop was tender and juicy and flavorful and the sauce was delicious. The pork chop was accompanied by mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, vegetable medley of yellow squash, zucchini, carrots, & broccoli, and pear sauce. There was also a large piece of bread.

This is one of my most favorite restaurants in the area. I have gone there many times and I was so excited to see that they are on DoorDash and deliver to my area. I've been to this restaurant many times and have had many family events there. The food was delicious. I was a bit disappointed, however with the baked stuffed clams. Always my favorite appetizer there. When I got them in the restaurant, I would get five. This order only contained three. The cost was $14.50 for three small clams. I wouldn't mind paying that price if there have been five in the order the same as they serve at the restaurant. I might contact the restaurant and inquire about how they do their to go orders for delivery. There really should be five in the order, especially at that price.

We are normally big fans of the Ship Lantern Inn, but I was disappointed in tonight's order. The most disappointing thing was the Caesar Salad a La Maison. Having had this in the restaurant many times, it has always been very good. What I got delivered to my home was simply romaine lettuce and a few croutons with the dressing. There was no parmesan cheese and it certainly isn't worth the $13 charge! The Oyster Sampler was good but not warm and the Pulled Beef Short Ribs appetizer was okay. The meat was good but the potato cakes were soggy and not warm. We do not live far from the restaurant so our food should have been mich warmer than it was upon delivery.
