• 22-01-28Chong Qing Chicken pieces were very tiny for the price. Mostly filler dried peppers even though it came in this huge container. The cauliflower is excellent though.

• 25-04-23I recently ordered from Shang Cafe through DoorDash, and I wanted to share my experience in hopes it helps others.
First off, I have to say that the food from Shang Cafe is genuinely good. However, I encountered some frustrating issues that might be worth considering if you're thinking about ordering through DoorDash.
One of the biggest concerns I faced was the pricing. The markup on DoorDash for Shang Cafe is quite steep, leading to overpaying by about 30 to 40 percent for just about every dish. It was disappointing to realize that, in addition to that, the fees on DoorDash added up quickly, making the experience feel like I was being taken advantage of.
On top of that, while waiting for my order, I noticed that my Dasher was left waiting for over 30 minutes at the restaurant. That’s a long time, and it really threw off the estimated delivery. It seems like the kitchen is not run very efficiently, as I've also experienced significant wait times even when dining in. You can expect to wait 30 minutes or more after placing an order, which can be frustrating if you're hungry!
While I appreciate the quality of the food, the hassle and the cost made me feel a bit cheated. I just wanted to share this so that other community members are aware before placing their orders. Ultimately, I am starting to question if I should ever go back. I think the pricing is dishonest.

• 23-07-10Overall yummy! Mapo tofu is nice but too salty. One scoop of tofu need one bowl of white rice to finish lol. Pepper and pork taste good except green pepper became soggy when delivered.
