Sizzling House Restaurant in Redcliff, Alberta, delivers authentic Chinese cuisine to the local community.
One of my go-to restaurants and always in the running when we're deciding where to order from. Sweet and sour sauce is deliciously tangy, fries are always delicious and wedges are fluffy and moist. Chicken balls, Bbq pork slices and koloo pork are our faves, and you always get immense portions, easily enough for two meals. Chicken balls are always moist, bbq pork is tender and lean (perfect if you're like me and don't like fatty meat) and comes with tasty noodles, and the koloo pork is somehow moist and crunchy at the same time. Food is always piping hot and we've never once had a bad dish. Only warning - careful if you get the koloo pork as they aren't stingy with the sauce, so be wary when taking it out of the bag so you don't spill!

I was disappointed with the chicken stir-fried mixed vegetables. The overall flavor was quite bland, and it had a sour taste that didn’t seem right. The portion had a lot of vegetables but not enough chicken, so it didn’t feel well balanced. I was expecting better flavor and a more generous amount of chicken.

Super disappointed in this dish Cantonese Chow Mein Noodle. I added prawns. The portion was great but that's about it. The quantity of prawns was impressive but they had an extremely soggy coating on them ruining the flavour of the prawn. The chowmein was very plain. No flavour at all. No amount of soy sauce could help. Peas were fresh and crunchy but not consistent with the other vegetables (onions and mushrooms). Pretty bummed because everything looked so good. Won't order from here again.

I ordered the Shanghai Noodles and asked for no onions or bean sprouts. When I arrived home, I noticed lots of onions and other vegetables but hardly any noodles. Very dis when you order a noodle dish and not a vegetable one.
