The Udon broth was ok but the ingredients that were in it was interesting. It's not authentic Japanese Udon. The whole half egg was replaced by scrambled egg I think. It sure look funny. I have never seen dumpling in any Udon I had before in authentic Japanese restaurants. Ingredients look more like leftover scraps than whole portions. A big let down. Ichiban used to taste real good

I've been a customer of Ichiban forever and have always enjoyed their food. I started noticing their reduced portions in the past couple of years, but it has now gotten ridiculous. We used to get a tray with several different portions, plus tea and soup for one price. Now, portions are very small, tea and soup are $ extra. Also noticed the egg rolls are greasy and filled only with like 2 ingredients. The final straw was the 6-piece Fried Shrimp which they used to serve whole. but now cut the shrimp in half--and increased the price. The Fried Vegetable were over-breaded and unappetizing. It's unfortunate that Ichiban has lost its appeal.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki combo plate. The portions are a hit and miss, some days when I order I receive good portions other days like today its a small portion. Also where's the teriyaki sauce? The chicken has barely if any teriyaki sauce.
