I ordered online, through Door Dash. I ordered the Beef stew with potatoes and carrots (carne de res guisada con papas y zanahorias) The menu required ordering two "rice" items, out of the choice of white rice, yellow rice, pinto beans and black beans. For $19, what I wanted was just $19 worth of stew. Regardless, I chose black beans and pinto beans. I would rather have beans than rice. When it arrived, everything was in a three compartment single plate with a lid. The 1/5 size compartment had black beans. The biggest compartment (1/2 of the whole plate) was yellow rice with a few beans in it. The last compartment was around 1/4 of the plate, and that had the stew. Maybe $5 worth of stew. Maybe $7 worth of stew. Clearly, not $19 worth of stew. I would have felt better about it if it was only the 1/2 plate size compartment with stew and nothing else. After that, should I be upset that the 1/2 compartment was wasted with a bunch of rice that I did not order? Should I be upset that it probably was planned to be 1/2 plate of pinto beans instead of $19 worth or stew? I don't know. Anyway, everything was cooked perfectly, so that's positive. But now, if I order $19 of stew again, how can I word the order so that I get close to $19 worth of stew?

Everything was good and flavorful. The beans are delicious and cooked perfectly. The Roast Pork (pernil) was cooked and flavored well. I'll be back this week. I can't think of anyone or anyplace with better beans.

I have ordered here several times. They told me any accommodations needed to contact them which was very considerate. The food was absolutely amazing. Chicken was so tender and fulfilling. The pork is great .. the beans are the best beans I have tasted. The portions are very hefty!!

The relleno de papa was incredible, I do not think I could possibly find anything like it for the price in any of the surrounding area. The prices are pretty good, although the Roast Pork (pernil) is a bit underseasoned, though still very good. The yellow rice with gandules is amazing especially when you mix it with the beans. The portion size was also very good for the price.

The scrapple is amazing and cooked perfectly! The eggs were cooked perfectly and not too cheesy! The French toast was crispy and not too eggy!! 10/10 an affordable and delicious breakfast!
