Apple Strudel was Amazing. The Single Steak was a bit overcooked. But it still tasted good. The French Fried Potatoes (for 2) was also very good. Tasted fresh and warm a little under salted but it allows you to play with your flavor pallette

Steak was perfectly cooked 10/10, great flavor, the cheesecake 10/10, fries are good too, only thing it wasn't hot by the time it got to me I had to reheat a bit, could be the weather outside. But I would order again or dine in!

We shared the Luger Burger with Cheese and fries!!!! Phenomenal!!! Also shared Luger's Special German Fried Potatoes (for 2) and they were amazing!!! Also tried the Luger Bacon and...ohhhh ma gawd!!!! Sure it was $9.00 per slice but WOW!!!! (Yeah--don't be fooled by the pic that shows 3-slices-it was only one for $8.95 but money WELL spent!!)

Creamed Spinach (for 2),and the Chocolate Mousse Cake were really good and tasted as expected. The Chocolate Mousse Cake does come with the house whipped cream which was an unexpected bonus. The Single Steak, however, was very disappointing. It had a grainy texture and slightly weird aftertaste. I felt bad to throw it away because it's a lot of meat but I couldn't eat it. In addition it was a very bland piece of meat that didn't seem seasoned at all let alone cooked professionally at Peter Luger. Perhaps this was an one off thing since all the previous reviews spoke very highly of the steaks.

While I have enjoyed numerous in house dining experiences at PL, the take out experience was a big negative. First, you must wait outside, next to their trash dumpster and the pick up door is a converted raised loading bay. The medium hamburger was overcooked and dry. I was very disappointed.
