If you have not tried this place I promise you, you are missing out. This is some of the best soul food in Springfield. The portions are on point. This is my second time ordering and it tastes amazing. The Southern Sweet Yams were so good. The Turkey tips/1 side are my favorite. I will be back again!

I do not eat pork , when I do cheat , I get rib tips. I took a chance with this place , usually going with my 2 favorite places as a Spfld local. It was okay . I think I'll stick w my other two soul food places . But still good !! Just my personal preference . Also Mac n cheese was dry and no flavor . I'm very picky about my Mac n cheese tho. Yams were good too.

Rib tibs were delicious and tender loved the flavor.
I got green beans and yams didn't care for my sides at all the green beans had absolutely no flavor and the yams tasted like nothing but nutmeg. I'd definitely order the rib tibs again though!

Salisbury steak was super dry and ordered Mac and cheese with it and got mashed potatoes that definitely could use some salt and pepper. I don't know where my dressing I ordered went and I did get Mac and cheese on the side instead of with the actual meal. Went to pick up the order and was told they were out of greens that I ordered and had to sub green beans that there were barely 15 beans in the cup and everything was so bland. I'm so disapointed as I had heard so many good things.

I will say 5/10 it wasn't bad but my order was wrong and we didn't get enough plasticware. It was fresh and I ate a good portion the turkey sausage could have been a better grade and bigger if you are only giving 1. I would definitely try something different from the menu
