Alta Strada, Your Area Pasta Joint, provides soulful Italian staples to your neighborhood, like homemade bolognese, mozzarella, and chicken parm, to mention a few. We understand the importance of auth…
Had to pick a place and I liked Alta Strada's menu. The Arugula Salad was fresh and delicious and the shaved mushrooms were an ingredient I hadn't had with arugula before - and they were great.
It was hard to pick a dish but I'm a sucker for the broccoli rabe+sausage combination so I got the rigatoni. Cooked perfectly with nice spice and garlic.

Overpriced. The $30 chicken parm at least wasn't dry but it was bland (I had to add salt. Maybe I should have paid the extra $4 (!!!) for it to come with red sauce) and comes with three big unseasoned pieces of broccoli. The garlic bread was pretty tasty. First time eating here.

The $30 butternut Butternut Squash Tortelli was insanely overpriced for the teeny tiny portion size. Fedellini Cacio Pepe was so so.

$25 bucks for some Fettuccine Alfredo but the portion was barely $3 worth of food and therr was barely any sauce. Incredibly disappointed.

Chicken Parm was inedible. Chicken was chewy and disgusting. Spaghetti accompanying it was sooooo spicy (way too much red pepper, and I do have a low spice tolerance, but why is basic spaghetti that spicy? Warn someone when you spice up a traditionally not spicy dish).
