We've been wanting to try the food here since they opened south on I-10 on Cotton. I had Angry Mac and hubby had Hangry Fix. Angry Mac was terrific. I ordered Mild to be on the safe side. I like spicy but my gut doesn't! Chicken was way better than D A V E's. The spice isn't caked on like theirs. The chicken was great. Mac way almost too creamy but mixed w chicken was fine. The fried in the dish are powder spiced. It was a good mix. Too bad you can build Your Own Bowl. I would have chosen slaw over fries personally.
Hubby's Hangry Fix, he liked it but said the rice was 'meh' however it was moist. He ordered the Medium heat and said it was great. He also added he wouldn't have wanted a higher level of spice because it would detract from the overall flavor.
We only ate half our portions. Lots of food!
We will definitely order from here again!

My tongue went numb with the extra hot flavor. the flavor is bomb though. way better than Dave's Hot Chicken. the sauce is bomb too

The flavor was great, the bun was great, the Cole slaw was great, I accidentally got extra spicy and I paid dearly for it. Definitely my fault. I'm gonna order again but I'm going medium this time. I would t call it a slider though, it's a full blown sandwich. The portion was plenty when I got 3 of them. It was fresh and the fries were still crispy. I can handle some heat and it was brutal. You've been warned

My mom spoke highly of this place, but I am highly disappointed. The chicken was rubbery, the fries taste old and stale & didn't have a crunch, and the macaroni tasted like they were noodles submerged in nacho cheese sauce. The drink was decent though.

The fry were the best thing. The macaroni and cheese was under seasoned. It needed salt. The chicken was ok. The medium is hot. I can't imagine. What the other heat is. Their sauce is good. Not going back.  Popeyes.Is much better. Sorry. But not impressed.
