Everything was delicious! The Combo #4 Two Waffles & Two Tenders was excellent! Al's Loaded Mac & Cheese was perfectly cheesy. Al's Honey Sauce and Al's Hot Sauce were very good as well. I was slightly underwhelmed with the coleslaw and the white sauce, but I can see how it would be great to cut the spice for the really spicy level of heat. Overall 9/10.

It was ok. The taste of the chicken was very plain, not really a lot of seasonings. I didn't order any spice. The #2 Two Sliders & Fries it was a good portion full nice size tenders. it was freshly cooked and packaged. I didn't
care for the Mac & Cheese very creamy no cheese pull. I'd probably go back to try a new item.

I purchased the #5 Waffle Sandwich & Fries. OMG, everything was balanced and the flavors complimented one another! The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The sweetness of the waffles paired with the creaminess of the coleslaw, sourness and acidity of the pickles, and spices from the chicken...was wow. I'm thoroughly please.

Did Al's change to A's? Dined here a dozen times, but today was different. Every part of order tasted different than before. Froes were not crinkle cut like they normally are, just a regular burnt fry
Mac was larger pasta but tasted ok. Chicken was too salty and did not taste as good. Sauce was light and was not flavorful like usual.

Used to be my favorite as far and chicken, chicken sandwiches, and fries were of the hook good and made right with Cajun spicing that compliment the food well and really made it perfect/a favorite for me and my family. I've had this type of food all over the country and at some really famous places and they were right up there with a few of the best for me. That's all changed now because they changed the fries and the spice level and or type. Don't be fooled by some of their pictures still showing the crinkle cut fries with that tight amount of spice on them. They are those newer style fries that are big chain fast food crap and taste like it... and don't hold spice well. Some of pictures do show new fries and they are smooth. Ruined everything for me and the family there. Used to get at least once a week there and not at all anymore since they did this. Everything else seems close to the same except for the last couple of orders the sandwiches were just thrown together/sloppy with sauce smeared everywhere and got shorted on the sauce on the side. I couldn't be more disappointed. The should have left well enough alone and not try to get cheap on the fries and still charge as much and now more than they used to.
