I LOVE this place. I'm born and raised in NYC, and Bergen has been in my top 3 for almost a decade now. Plus, they have a technique for delivering my Decaf Coffee without a single spill in sight - every.single.time. The cream cheese in my Plain Cream Cheese Sandwich is whipped to perfection and perfectly balanced (I love the sesame and poppy the best). Good bagels are a blessing and these people have it down to a science. I know this sounds like an ad, but I'm just obsessed and want them around forever <3

I occasionally forget that this is the place with mediocre bagels and accidentally place an order.
The bagels are bready with a hard crust. They're similar to what you might find at a suburban supermarket. The cream cheese is whipped so you're paying for air. I usually end up eating a few and throwingaway the rest.

Got the pastrami on egg but there was so little pastrami for the upcharge. I even had to take it apart and rearrange it because the egg to meat ratio was terribly cheap.

The Nova Scotia Salmon Sandwich was exactly what I wanted. It's quite large, so make sure you're hungry. So delicious. There was quite a bit of salmon, but I liked it that way.

Drinks fell out completely, packaging was nothing short of careless... why would you place aluminum foil instead of saran wrap and a cup holder? Bagels were fine but considering the bags were dripping in coffee, and the coffee tasted awful, I have to give this a low rating. Your bagels are great tho!
