I'm from west Philly & this is a REAL cheesesteak. For anybody who wants to know. Idk about that sauce cuz we don't put sauce on our cheesesteaks but... THIS IS A REAL CHEESESTEAK WITH THE REAL FRESH BREAD. idk I got extra meat because I already knew the meat was not going to be filled like a up north cheesesteak. But it's been consistent since I first tried it several yrs ago. I feel like the price is a bit high BUT to get a real cheesesteak in the south. It's worth it! Tastes delicious and seasoned well.

For the $12 BEEF CHEESESTEAK it's small, its bread-heavy, and the cheese to protein ratio isn't the best for me. I enjoy cheaper and more filling cheesesteaks in the local area that are available via doordash.
Won't be eating here in the near future, but I could see why someone could

The fries were greasy,hard and over cooked. The bread was stale and tough to chew and it wasn't enough meat on the bun..

The regular beef steak is actually pretty good if you get all three cheeses. It's got good flavor, but for the price you're just not getting that much. So not a good value. Maybe, just maybe, if you went with the extra meat, but I'm not sure. Definitely more bread than meat.

Even though the restaurant had good reviews overall, I was skeptical! I wanted mines to look like the photos so I bought the 6" joints with extra meat. I ordered mines and my husbands. They were both good! Didn't taste typical and was definitely better than the average around here. Meat was full to the brim and over. I paid for extra.
