I'm very critical of food establishments and this place is ACES! The food is always great, and the pies are a MUST. I've never been disappointed. Everything  cooked to perfection.

Joe's Hobo Omelette is a must, always great cooked just right and a very generous portion. The grits were also very good and I don't just like any grits, I'm very picky when it comes to them. 2 places I will order grits from and this is one of them. You can tell that they only use fresh ingredients.

This was my first breakfast from Black Bear Diner. I feared The Grizz but gave it a shot and it was worth it. 

The over-easy eggs, bacon, link sausage, thick slice of ham and hashbrowns were all cooked perfectly and were delicious. The 2 huge pancakes made for a perfect dessert. (I hope the picture does it justice.)

I survived The Grizz. The food was great, the price was reasonable and I will definitely order it again. The only problem is now I need a nap!

I had the classic Eggs Benedict with a side of fresh fruit and a freshly squeezed orange juice, and everything was amazing. The Eggs Benedict were perfectly made .the eggs were poached just right, the hollandaise sauce was rich and flavorful, and the English muffin had the perfect toast. The fresh fruit was sweet and refreshing, and you can really taste the difference with freshly squeezed orange juice. It was the perfect, well-balanced breakfast and I’ll definitely be coming back for it again!

The food was terrible. The 10 oz New York Steak & Eggs was overpriced for what tasted like not even a real steak, it tasted like ground beef. The hashbrowns on the side were burnt to a crisp. My Homemade Chicken Pot Pie tasted like a store-bought in can of soup thrown inside a pastry with some chopped chicken. Fries were a good flavor, but soggy. The soggy fries were the best part of the meal
