I used to drive 1 hour one way just for a taste of Bongos kachhi biriyani. It's a special menu item only available on Fridays. I love their rosogolla and misti doi as well. Very authentic Bengali taste.

Fish cutlet - 6 out of 10 stars. Its not crispy enough.
Potato curry - 6 out of 10 stars. I didn't like the hint of coconut or jaggery taste.
Fish curry - 9 out of 10 stars. Very tasty. Too much bones.
Pratha - 5 out of 10 stars. I doubt Its from fresh dough. Tastes like frozen type that you just thaw and heat.
Rice pulao - 5 out of 10 stars. Didn't taste fresh. Wasn't hot upon arrival.

It's my go-to dish from this place. Their Morog Polao (Chicken Biriyani) really tastes like an authentic Bangladeshi dish!

This is not even near to Kolkata biryani. Previously they had very good biryani but this one is not at all a match to original flavour. Simple ingredient like kewra water was missing which is essential in Kolkata biryani. Very disappointed
