First time trying this chicken spot and it was amazing! Taste better than D hot chicken and not sweet at all! Savory goodness and sauce pairs fantastically. I never had an experience like this before. The chicken sandwich is top tier on my list and I encourage everyone try it. Juicy, hot, spicy, savory sauce, and not oily. Just perfect. My only problem was the Mac and cheese portion size was small for the price I paid. Would definitely order the Mac and cheese w chicken again tho.

The main thing to know is that the portion size is much larger than it sounds. I was hesitant about the price, because the cost for "1 tender" seemed kind of absurd. But the truth is that the single tender is not too much smaller than a full breast. Maybe 75% of the size I'd say.
With that said, the Single Sandwich was rather delicious. The sauce, slaw, and pickles worked well together to create great flavor!
My only issue is the heat rating. I usually eat pretty hot food, but I'll always go lower if it's Asian food because, well, in my experience it has a different "hot" rating than western food. So with that in mind, I tried both a medium and a hot Single Sandwich, reminding myself that there are still two full heat levels above hot.
As expected, 'hot' was just a little too much even for my taste. I could eat it and it was good, but I was running for milk halfway through.
I ate the Medium later and was hoping that it would be perfect since it would be slightly less hot. Unfortunately for me, it was way too mild.
I need a medium 0.5 I think, because I my needs are somewhere between the two and it was a little disappointing that there was no "happy medium".
Either way, I can't complain about the chicken itself. It was tender and flavorful. I added Fries with Cheese Sauce and that was a good addition too.
Overall, I'd definitely order again. I'll have to stick with hot and hope that maybe the next one will be a little closer to my expectations (or I'll just add a shake to go with it)

This place runs CIRCLES around Dave's Hot Chicken. B's is the best hot chicken place in Tacoma, with consistently great quality, portion sizes, flavor and customer service. The chicken is always juicy, the fries perfectly crispy, and the B's sauce is a perfect compliment. Side note: the pickles are some of my favorite! And can I mention how the price is RIGHT?

My daughter, and I shared a Meal #5: 2 Sandwiches, Fries, Drink . The chicken was crispy, moist, and perfectly seasoned 🤤 The fries were crispy, and perfectly seasoned as well 👌🏾 The General Manager Melissa was courteous, and helpful. Lunch was superb 🌟 Keep up the good work guys ♡

Omg the chicken tenders were still hot fresh and CRISPY coming all the way from UP to Lakewood. It was packaged nice, they have unique large size see through bags. (Honestly reusable) Also they have so many deals! I got a buy one get one free and was able to get full under $10 bucks! The Single Tender are A DECENT size and like I said crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They had just the right amount of spice level that I asked for and it came with 2 slices of bread and crunchy fresh pickles which made the entire perfect make shift sandwich lol. So yeah if you want tasty food on a budget eat here. I can happily say "I got my bang for my buck" hahaha. I would totally order here again I'm still impressed by the crunch all that driving time later. Keep it up Bs Hot Chicken!!!! :p
