Honest to god, the crispy shrimp tacos might be the best shrimp tacos I've had in the whole Bay Area. Cactus is definitely a new favorite.

Cactus Taqueria is our favorite Mexican place in the Bay Area. Healthy, high quality meats and THE BEST CRISPY TACOS EVER. Large enough portions. Delicious beans and rice and salsas . . . I could go on and on. My only knock is that the chips aren't my favorite. They're healthier than I like, but I guess that means I eat fewer. It definitely shouldn't deter you.

Don't get me wrong, I love Cactus BUT....The encinitas were pretty bad. Not up to their standard. Cheese not completely melted and not enough sauce. Poor choice.
Also the salsa is ridiculously overpriced for the amount they gave me. I won't do that again.

The chicken in my crispy chicken taco was dry and awful. Ordered a tostada salad and received an overdressed limp salad atop a tiny, wet corn tortilla that I only found after rooting around in the salad. :(

Everything was freezing cold. They put about a cup of pico de gallo in the burritos and the cheese wasn't melted and the tortillas didn't seem be cooked at all. Wry strange.
Be heated or cooked at all. Very strange
