Deluxe Seafood Platter was hot and fresh. The fish had Good flavor and texture. Everything was packaged perfectly . 2 Piece Fish & 2 Piece Chicken Meal had good portions for the sides and looking forward to the Chocolate Cake for dessert.

Loaded Potato Soup was much better this time in that it had real potato flavor! Grilled White Fish & Shrimp Skewer Meal was huge! Last time I got it the fillet was fairly thin, which is the reason I also ordered the shrimp and soup. My only complaint is that I couldn't taste any salt on the fish, which surprised me.

This is the umpteenth time over the years that I've ordered the Grilled Whitefish and Shrimp Meal and I'd say this time is the best! I've said before that I wish the rice that comes with it was a regular side, but this time the serving was plenty to go along with the fish, as well as the broccoli side. Didn't get added seasoning this time, which allowed the grilled shrimp to shine. Go, Captain D's!

Capt D's is on the ball today! 3 3 Piece Batter Dipped Fish Meal was hot and good, but the serving was too much! The store did well in that they provided plenty of the malt vinegar condiment I requested AND sent Unsweet Tea rather than sweet (store employees often send sweet, which I shouldn't drink). I'll order my regular grilled fish next time, but this was nice for a change.

The Southern-Style White Fish Meal Deal cost only 7.79, which would have been a real deal, considering the size of the fish filet, but it was another waste of money. The fish was fried too long, which caused the coating to be hard rather than crunchy and the fish to be very dry to the point that I couldn't finish it. The Deluxe Seafood Platter's stuffed crab and butterfly shrimp didn't have much flavor. For the price Capt D's charges, they could've at least added some bell pepper to the crab.
