The short rib dan mein noodles is fantastic each time I get it. I felt like my order had lots of short rib too, great deal for the price. Dan Modern Chinese never disappoints!

Overall: I liked this and would recommend it! - - - Taste: I ordered the shrimp fried rice, and it tastes lovely. The shrimp are well cooked (not over or underdone), the rice/eggs/green onions are well mixed and nice, and the food is both warm and the same temperature (none of that the rice is warm but the shrimp are cold business, or vice versa.) - - - Quantity/portions: I thought the portions were good/average/what I'd expect. It was in a black plastic takeout container, filling up to maybe 60% up the height of the box. - - - Attention to detail/order requests: I asked for added napkins and forks, and they added both, which is nice!

You can tell everything is freshly hand made to order. The fried rice is the light and fluffy, not overly salty, and isn't heavy or greasy. The dumplings are delightful. Everything came packaged with care to ensure the food arrived in perfect condition. Will be ordering from here again!

I ordered the dan mein vegetable noodles. Great flavor! Perfect amount of garlic. The only thing that I would mention that was not good was the fact that I am vegetarian and there were a couple of small pieces of chicken in my food. I picked them out and threw them away, but if you don't eat meat, I would look twice before taking a bite.

Over-priced for portion size. three cup chicken was more salty than sweet. fr chicken was good but too small for nearly $20.
