Wow! I just tried this place for the 1st time & it's definitely my new favorite. Chicken Fried Chicken (Tues, Thurs, and Saturday) was super delicious--moist inside, crispy & flavorful outside. Broccoli casserole was on point. Fried squash seasoned & fried just right. Everything was fabulous. Will definitely order again!

Grilled pork chops, tea, veggies, & cherry cheesecake was AWESOME!! All food was fresh & tasty, portion size was excellent definitely will order more often & highly recommend.

I got the Pot Roast (monday) . My side choices were black eyed peas, and a Lima/corn mix. Everything was delicious. Very nice size of the roast with carrots and a tiny bit of onion. Yum. My one complaint was the serving size of the chess pie slice. It looked so tiny and sad all alone in its container. Probably won't order dessert from there again.

Typically, I love Delancy's. The food is always very good and fresh. And the restaurant is amazing... in person. But I wish they would step up their Doordash game!
They offer requests, but I don't think they pay attention to them.
It would also be nice for them to open up their dessert options for Doordash ordering. Only one type of cake, when they have so many kinds available? And the shareable plate is laughable. 5 crackers for two sizable scoops of Pimento Cheese and Chicken Salad.

The single BBQ Chicken Breast was very good and tender. I got mashed potatoes and green beans as my sides which were good as well. Nice portion size. Loved the cornbread muffin. Probably the best cornbread from a restaurant that I've ever had because it's not too sweet. Would definitely order again.
