My okra was burnt, my bread was 1/2 cooked :( the bbq beans tasted like they were poured out of a can.
But my brisket and chicken were delicious!

I had HIGH hopes for this place but after getting the 3 Meat Plate with chopped and sliced brisket and the ribs with beans and potatosalad. only thing I ate was the potatosalad sadly. ribs had 2 bites of meat on them and VERY thin. the brisket smelled like a septic tank. the roll was just a frozen small dinner roll and the 2.00 coleslaw i got was 4 spoon worth. im sad upset this place looked like it was going to be great and it wasn't at all.

I'll tell you what - I just moved here to Dallas from LA... I hate barbecue. Hate the sauce, the style, everything.... until I had dicky's. This place has single handily converted me into a bbq loving Texan and I'm not mad about it. I've ordered from here 6 times in the last 9 days and every order has been perfect. If you've never tried it, take it from me... you won't be disappointed

I will absolutely NEVER order a Giant Pit-Smoked Baker with Meat again. Ths was the saddest baked potato ive ever seen. And the upcharge for the rib (that dry piece in the upper left corner is my rib upcharge. Tasteless, dry just NNNOOOO

Bread hard and meat dry undercooked okra. I will NEVER order ANY Dickey's again. What a shame. It used to be so good. Too many people who know nothing about BBQ. This is Texas. WE ARE BBQ!
