This is it. For all the other homesick Californians in Chicago, this is the place if you want an actual burrito that reminds you of home. All the other Chicago Mexican restaurants are great, but just so different from the regional style on the West Coast and I’ve lived here for years and found it basically impossible to find food that’s on point to what I grew up with. Five out of five.

Burrito is delicious but, honestly, a little light on filling for >$30.
The flan you SHOULD skip. Good texture but slightly overbitter caramel and EMBARRASINGLY small. I want a refund small. For $11? It was 2.5 bites.

Not sure you can justify $25 for a burrito ANYWHERE, but the California burrito was good. I think for size and flavor it is more in like with a $16 dollar burrito anywhere else (but most places don't have a Cali burrito so...)

At $22 this is already a painfully expensive burrito, but the fact that half of it is potatoes makes it that much more insulting. That being said, it does taste pretty good.
