Some Nigerians told me about this place almost 3 years ago. I have been ordering/going here ever since. The food is amazing. The actual restaurant is a dark smokey lokey place but the I promise the food will not disappoint you. Stuffing my face now with juicy lamb. try the "grape leaves." One thing! The olives are not pitted. take your time don't chip a tooth on the olive seed.

I don’t leave reviews often, but this one is well deserved. You can genuinely taste the love and intention in this food. Every single item was prepared with care — nothing was forgotten, nothing was rushed, and every detail was right.
The plating was absolutely beautiful. It didn’t feel like typical takeout; it felt like I was personally being catered to. The presentation alone showed pride, but the flavor and quality sealed it. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and consistent.
I’ve been using DoorDash for over five years — at least twice a week — and this is hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had on the platform. Dijla Cafe sets the standard. I will absolutely be ordering again. and the portion was great.

Love this spot! I asked for them to make sure they included the green sauce and they gave me 2, and fried my Fish extra crispy as requested! But I requested extra onions and they gave me none :( I cut up my own, but I didn't have red onion to complement the spice. I guess someone misread, but I still appreciate them reading my special instructions and trying to honor them!
