Steamed buns are approx. 3"+ in diameter, so you're getting your money's worth per bun. The bread is white, soft & springy -- no odd bleach taste/smell. Yes, the proportion of bread to filling is 2:1 but the amount of bread compliments the Bbq Steamed Pork Bun / 叉燒包 which is nicely seasoned without being too salty.
Plain Steam Bun / 饅頭 is soft, springy & filling. Bright white (no bleach smell/taste) & about 4"l x 2.5"w in size. These are neither airy nor hard- they are tasty, soft to the bite & filling.

This place is my new guilty pleasure, especially since it's the closest tasting to something from the city. Super affordable for the portions and great quality ingredients. The most authentic tasting dim sum I'd say in Brentwood/ Oakley area. I've ordered here twice, so almost everything off of the menu. EVERYTHING is delicious!

Packed nicely and love love my turnip cakes so much. Hoping they make this available on their daily menu. Hubby loves their Sui Mai and quail egg Sui Mai. But their mochi with meat is super good. Spoke with the owner: John and hes super friendly as well as very accommodating in achieving customer satisfaction on my order going through door dash. I will continue to support this small business. Good food and great service.

I loved the Quail Egg Shu Mai / 鵪鶉蛋燒賣 (3) the first one was delicious, however the other two, the pork was a bit too undercooked, which was unfortunate, based off of eating the first one, it was my favorite dish out of the whole order.both the Lotus Leaf Wrapped Rice / and the 糯米雞Fried Mochi with Pork / 咸水角 had a strong fish or seaweed flavor and smell which was not to my liking, sometimes when cooking fish with the same pans as other foods, those other foods can take on that fish quality, so that is what I am assuming, if you like fish/seaweed this will not be a problem for you. the Fried Wonton / 炸雲吞 Fried Eggroll / 炸春卷 Baked Pork Bun / 叉燒包 were good. the portions for the money were really good. the dishes were hot and appeared fresh. I may attempt another order here again sometime in the future.
