Teriyaki Chicken Bento was amazing. Big portions. Spring rolls were still crispy and warm. The dynamite rollwas  delicious.

The soy sauce was so salty I couldn’t use it. The tempura prawns were half the size as other surrounding options (shout out to Mill Bay Sushi!) but just as pricey. The sushi pieces were small. The dynamite roll had two pieces (of 12) that were just shrimp tail and no meat… why is this accepted?

I'm so confused this is not the quality I know this place to be this bowl was alllll rice this time and a few little veggies so disappointing.. the chicken was also very little compared to the last time I ordered this chop chop bowl. Definitely not worth the money. Next time ordering all veggies and making my own rice for sure!

Nice to know that the seared tofu from the Duncan Edo Japan is as good as I remember the one from tilamuk mall. Mom and I used to go up there once a month as a treat, grab a teriyaki to share and watch a movie at the silver screen. I ordered some because it's too humid to cook and it's straight up nostalgia food. Plus they don't drown their teriyaki in sauce, so the flavours of the searing with vegetables comes through. And they don't shove tons of peppers in their veg mix. Inexpensive too, with tofu, it's $20 for a large serving that I can easily get at least three portions out. Without, a chicken teriyaki is $15

chicken & beef was very good with good flavor. I ordered sumo sized and found that the portion size was extremely small and was left feeling hungry. I don't feel that the portion size in relation to the price being charged is a very good value.
