honestly, you will find very little competition in this area for top of the line Mexican food compared to El Pollo. I have ordered from this particular location multiple times and can say that they ALWAYS deliver. everything is well packaged, well made, & well worth the price in my opinion. if you are looking for something that is both satisfying and filling on the Mexican food department, El Pollo is a always reliable choice.

4 piece 4pc Half Chicken Meal means two actual pieces of chicken. The wings had zero meat on them and the breast was dry. The best part of the meal was the mashed potato's. 20 bucks for two pieces of dry chicken is pretty sad.

The sides were fine but the chicken was terrible! The worst! It was overcooked, burned, & completely dried out. Also had a TON of tiny bones in them, & I selected 'legs & thighs' but they gave me 1 leg, 1 thigh, 1 wing, & 1 burned, bony breast. It was so disgusting, I took a few bites & had to throw the rest away. So all I really got to eat was broccoli, 1 kids scoop of mashed potatoes, & a handful of chips. I hadn't eaten all day, so this was supposed to be my one meal for the day. I thought this would be a good meal deal for less than $20 bucks, but since the chicken was inedible, I feel like technically I overpaid. I got burned, dried, bony carcass. Not juicy, meaty, properly cooked chicken. Night crew don't GAF. Disappointing.

I ordered the 16 piece menu thigh and leg with beans, rice, cole slaw. They gave me half of the chicken old and burned and half was ok. The beans were insanely salted and the cole slaw was not fresh. Basically they took the opportunity of using my big order to get rid of the things the had not sold the week of Christmas. Go to the store on Sunrise instead of this one in Folsom. That one is very good.

The chicken was so dry it fell off the bone and was almost crusty on exterior. The broccoli was tough and had old discoloration on the florets.
