the Chicken Taco al Carbon was beyond my expectations, possibly the best deal I've seen all year. the chicken was grilled perfectly and complimented by the onions and cilantro. it's my new favorite.

Different chefs , I order every day, when chicken is cut small and cooked it's amazingly delicious, but sometimes they come in big chunks and falls out of the taco
Ask them to chop in smaller pieces, pollo loco is the best for freshness, it also comes in a sealed bag another reason to to eat take out from PL . 5star !

I started ordering from this store about a month ago and it seemed to be a good deal. Well, about 2 weeks ago, they suddenly changed their 4 piece meal to require you to buy a drink and are now charging $2 more because of that. The portion of the 4pc Half Chicken Combo today was appalling. The little drumsticks were miniature. Honesty about 1 bite worth of chicken. The chicken thighs were the same. They were about 1/2 of what I was originally getting about a month ago. After an hour after my meal, I was starving again. If you are going to charge more, you need to at least keep up the same portion size. You cannot charge more and offer less and then require a drink.

3 pieces were so tiny
The pinto beans was all soupy, more liquid than beans
The green and red salsa was less than half full looked like someone's leftover
And the chicken was so greasy gross

the El Pollo loco on kanan went downhill. maybe I just got it on an off day for them but nothing tasted the way it was supposed too. all the food tasted like it has been sitting for hours without even being mixed. even the chips were stale. very dissatisfied because that is the main location I grew up going too. the El Pollo loco in Simi valley is still very good. I eat there often and will only eat at that location Chips & Guacamole RegularBRC BurritoMashed Potatoes and GravyMacaroni & Cheese now.
