• 26-04-25This is our first time ordering from El Toro. The food was all outstanding!! It just became my favorite Mexican food in Memphis and I could eat Mexican food for breakfast, lunch, & dinner.
The portions are very generous. The chips are delish and the cheese dip is nice & thick. The guac is creamy & also delish!!
Give them a try- you'll love it!!

• 25-07-03The chile rellenos were off-the-chart delicious, as were the soft taco and enchilada. I ordered a lunch combo and it was a ton of food I could easily have split it with another person! Definitely recommend, and will order from this place again.

• 24-03-22I'm giving it 5 stars because since I've been in Memphis every restaurant has forgotten something but this one... I didn't like the salsa I gave it a 0 and I paid $3.50 and it was a little ketchup cup not 8 oz that's mainly what I'm looking for is the quality of the salsa it's my favorite... The rice was good needed a little more veggies in it and spice I gave it a 8. the taco and tostada was superb my favorite part I gave them a 10... enchilada was good it was a 9 I didn't like the taste the tamale gave it a 6 I shared with my daughter and grands she loved the chili relleno she said it just wasn't big like she's use to... overall it was not too bad I gave the place a 7

• 22-06-14I got the Arroz con Pollo, it was good, decent amount of chicken.
My son got 2 cheese quesadillas, they were standard size and he enjoyed them.
They did send complimentary chips and salsa as well, the salsa was fresh and the chips nice and crispy.
