Exotics Eats is my favorite place especially when I'm craving it like tonight. I'm really craving it macaroni and cheese, collard greens salmon bites and over rice it smells so so good. Oh my God it looks so so good. The quality and the quantity is phenomenally amazing it's fresh you can't go wrong if you haven't tried it you gotta try it. It's finger, licking good.

Their Oxtails w/ 2 Premium Sides always hits!! They make oxtails better than a regular Caribbean spot. I'm from NY so finding good food out in Jersey is really hit or miss. I've tried a multitude of soulfood restaurants, from Bergen county, Essex, Union, even Middlesex County and they really got it! They're food is always consistent, fresh and good. The blueberry cornbread is good as well. And the portions are worth the price, they're not skimpy. I have my food for like 2-3 days sometimes. Definitely give this place a try. And if you like oxtail, definitely try it.

Whoever is in the kitchen, I hope they pillows be cold on both sides because The Jerk Chicken breast dinner tasted too good. The portions were pretty excellent for the price, I was so full from the rice and Mac and Cheese but the chicken was the star it was heavenly. Sadly, they forgot my drink but the food was so delicious I didn't even care.

Honestly it's the best soul food in New Jersey! Everything was fresh and seasoned, the oxtails , fried chicken and Mac and cheese are to die for!

I will say this. The food is delicious! Flavorful. Very good exactly what I wanted in that aspect. But a large oxtail turned out to be two pieces of fat for me. Everything was fresh. And If that aspect is fixed both quantity and quality then I'd consider this restaurant again. But two pieces of oxtails huge at that, I have never seen any this size only to find it is globs of fat and bone.
