Gyro meat was SO TENDER! And the veggies were good too; exceptionally fresh and crisp! Every was super tasty. The hummus was well-made although a bit less viscous than I prefer. The pita I got as a side must have been the last of the bag, because I got the bag they came in - straight from https://www.jerusalembakery.us/ . Locally owned and delicious. Will order again!

Been coming here for over 40 yrs. The food is delicious and consistent in quality. The hummus is the best ever! Smooth and creamy. Have yet to find better anywhere. The falafel is the best. Crunchy outside. Soft inside. One of my favorites is the Kouby. (Kibbeh in Syria) its a Bulgar wheat exterior stuffed with ground meat (beef?) seasoned well and pine nuts. The only complaint... NOT AVAILABLE ON DOORDASH.
Babaganoush is delicious and the pita bread is always fresh. They must go through a ton of it daily.
Always a line outside. Worth the wait!
Enjoy the street art on the patio walls. It tells a story of San Jose.
And dont forget the banana shake!
They really need to add the Kouby to the DoorDash menu!!!!!!

Tahini sauce is creamy/foamy, very different from what I'm used to and I was pleasantly surprised :) The tabbouleh was fresh, baklava was flaky and sweet <3 and the falafel was MOIST on the inside and crisp on the outside. This is a gem of a place--I can't wait to drive over next time and patron their business in person. :)

I had never ordered a Large Gyros in a Pita before because I love their Large Falafel Sandwich so much. Their Falafel pitas are incomparable. I have tried other restaurants when I moved out of the area, only to be disappointed. Their Falafels are flavor-packed, crunchy on the outside, and pillowy inside. After 30 years of ordering Falafels and Hummus, I ordered the Large Gyros in a Pita. It was the best I have ever eaten. The meat melted in my mouth; it was so tender and flavorful. The hot sauce that they served on the side was delicious. It is a mix of sweet and spicy. Usually, I'm not fond of anything spicy, but this wasn't too hot to handle and added a lot to the Gyro. I highly recommend the Falafel Drive-In. It is reasonably priced and of great value.
This restaurant has never had any health inspection citations like the Falafel Stop in Sunnyvale. I always check all the restaurant's health department records before patronizing them. You may find this information via DoorDash's site, which links you to Yelp. Just scroll down until you reach the Health Department information.
