Firehouse is always my go-to comfort food.
The sandwiches are always thick and delicious. The soup tastes like it was freshly made today.

I really enjoy ranch dressing. I'll dip vegetables in it. I'll dip wings in it. Heck, I'll even occasionally dip a slice of pizza in it. But I gotta be honest, the amount of ranch on this Turkey Bacon Ranch ™ sub was more than enough for five sandwiches AND all of the other foods above. Like I stated, I enjoy my fair share of ranch, but this was way too much. All I tasted was ranch and soggy ranch flavored bread. I know there was turkey, bacon and all the other normal toppings, but my tastebuds sure didn't. Cuz they were too busy being coated, no slathered, with this excessively copious amount of ranch. The Hook & Ladder® was fine.

Every since my latest displeasure with Shoneys Turkey Club which used to be my favorite (but no longer) I have been on the hunt for a similar sandwhich. I was pleasantly surprised with the Tukey Bacon Ranch from Firehouse Subs. The grilled mushrooms simply knocked it out of the park. I will definitely eat the Subs again and recommend them also.

The hook and ladder is always a hit in my house! The bread is soft and fresh and the sandwich tastes freshly made. Would highly recommend.

The food is good, as always! But I do wish they'd take additional safety measures to make sure the food is secure inside the bag. Maybe they ran out of their normal paper bags because mine came in a plastic grocery bag. But still, a few staples goes a long way!
