Going in person to the Rio Grande location is worth it because of the outdoor patio and proximity to cute shops make up for the price tag. As a DoorDash delivery, it's not worth the price tag. Food is tasty but far too expensive for what you get. $18.50 for 3 fish tacos with no side? That's more money than most New Mexicans make an hour. The kids Mac N Cheese wasn't enough food for even my skinny little six year old. So, no thank you. Can't be a regular here even if it is near my house.

The Fish Tacos were delicious and the quality was impressive. There was a generous portion of fish and they were much bigger than I was expecting (I was full after two) . The prices at Flying Star are high so I haven't eaten there in awhile but it's nice to know the Rio Grande store is committed to quality. I ordered during a happy hour special and the for price for everything was good. The Raspberry Blackout Cake Slice was underwhelming and not as rich and chocolatey as I remember but I recognize that the baked goods are made off site and aren't always super fresh. The espresso brownie is a bit better for the price.

The mac & cheese was NOT worth the $23 I spent. Charged and extra $6 for the chicken and they only gave a few small pieces of chicken. Not $6 worth. The "bowl" was only 1/3 full when the pasta and the chicken were combined. For $23, I could have gotte a "full" meal elsewhere! It was not very tasty either!

I ordered the Californian Melt because it sounded and looked amazing. Fresh avocados and sliced tomatoes with caramelized onions and Swiss cheese. Yumm. Add chicken breast and I couldnt go wrong. But when I opened it. Utter disapointment. There were 2 slices of blackened avacados and one butt slice of tomato. The sandwhich should be named caramalised onion disapoinyment because thats really all u taste. Avacados and tomato are non existant and the $6 chicken addon is so thin it adds nothing but a slightly chewier bite. The swiss is put between the bread and onions and is forever lost.

Asked for extra ketchup because I'm 8 months pregnant and simply can't get enough of it right now. Not only did I get PLENTY of ketchup, they included extra chicken tenders and a sweet note ❤️ 11/10 recommend!!!
