I got the pork chops awhile back and they weren't that great. So glad I decided  to give them another try. Whoever cooked these was ON point. Delicious, not greasy. First time trying the green beans and they were yummy. Seasoned perfectly. The baked potato is always perfect and the hush puppies were light and airy. Thanks so much, I found my perfect country cooking spot. I added the salt to the pork chop so dont freak out, that was my salt.

The food we received was delicious as always but we were missing the shrimp from the combo dinner (and it didn't seem like the large size but maybe that's because it was missing a third of the contents) and the green beans for the catfish dinner were missing also.  The fried chicken was delicious but the pieces were very small and not packaged nicely at all.  Someone threw the chicken loose into a paper bag with the hush puppies. The sides were in 2 small styrofoam containers and they had spilled out into the plastic bag which made the paper bag with the chicken soggy.  We were a bit disappointed with what we did receive and in what we paid for and didn't receive.  Not the quality we are used to from Friday's.

I ordered the dark chicken dinner with the daily vegetable, which turned out to be macaroni and cheese that was way too salty. The chicken was very salty. I ordered apple pie for dessert. It was a very small serving. The crust was thick and gummy. The  filling was overly sweet and contained only a very few pieces of apple. I won't be ordering from here again.

The ***Ribeye Steak Sandwich was good. Cooked to perfection, as was the shrimp plate and vegetables that came with the shrimp and food  cooked to perfection

The dip itself is okay. Lacking some seasoning. The bread to dip it in was just sandwich bread with butter or something on it. I wouldn't say more than $12 for the dip is acceptable.
