Most of the time when I order Fried Fish from GC it is fresh and white and flaky, and I love it with lemon juice. Last time the fish was too heavily coated with corn meal, and the pieces were so small they were hard to find among the big French Fries. The fish had a lot of fat on it too. Ordinarily, the fish is just what the doctor ordered.

I purchased the $10 fish tray, and it comes with two pieces of fish, fries, and hush puppies. however you get two additional sides. I opted for the sweet potato casserole and broccoli, which were very good. They even gave me a complimentary yeast roll and 2 cookies for dessert. It was worth $10. I enjoyed it, not the fries so much, just not a big fan of steak fries.

The Bourbon Street Chicken is not a flavor I would order again, it's too flavorful for me. But the dish is creative.
The Apple Pie was not presented as a formed slice... it was packed into a dish in pieces of crust interspersed with apple filling, as if a slice of pie had been cut and mistakenly dropped on the counter before being scooped up and thrown into the dish. Not appetizing, but taste was okay. It looked like scrabble...a real disappointment. Pizza was acceptable.

The food was good. However, the two pieces of pie didnt travel well and came apart inside the container. On top of this, whoever sliced the pie which determined how large it was must have thought it was for a child. The slice was much too small and looked nothing like the picture on their website. The part that was delivered tasted good.
