My god. The Half Chicken Plate was so much food and so good. This was my 7th trip to New Orleans and I've never eaten at the same place twice, but I could eat this chicken again and again. It was JUICY. It was CRISPY. It was a little bit SPICY.
I'm from Kentucky, and we love us some fried chicken. Probably the best I've had in a long while. 🔥

Gus is our FAVORITE fried chicken in New Orleans. Crispy and seasoned so well. Not greasy! We love the Mac and cheese too! And the coleslaw/ and the beans!!! The pie is out of this world! Pecan is amazing and chess pie is 2nd place. We love eating at their restaurant too!

First time trying food from Gus. I didn't know what to expect but the food was exceptionally great. I ordered the 3 Piece Dark Plate and added a sidd of Mac & Cheese . Everything was delicious. The chicken was clean and the little spicy kick was just what I needed. 5 🌟 I will be back

Collard Greens great.
Mac & Cheese great. Ordered large but was just a cup full. Expected twice as much for the cost of the large. Not a deal breaker.

The chicken was dry and over cook and very greasy the okra was greasy also the fries was dry and over cook the worse chicken I ever taste will not buy again also the chicken was too small for what they were charging
