In 1978, Hal informed to his wife, Melissa, and four children that they would start offering chicken fingers at their business.
When Hal decided to add chicken fingers to the menu, he realized he need…
I continue to order from Guthries because the food is fresh and delicious. No other chicken chain can beat the quality and service of Guthries.

Nearly identical to Raising Cane's in virtually every way, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The sauce is indistinguishable from Cane's sauce, it's the exact same. There are a few small differences that set them apart.
Pros: price is significantly better for the box than the Cane's equivalent. The French fries are also much larger and taste better than Cane's.
Cons: first negative I noticed was the sauce. One small cup of sauce for a 6 finger combo with fries and toast is not nearly enough. Definitely at least 2 to come with a combo this big. The toast was not particularly great, it was bland even with the butter on it.
Ultimately the food was good and I can't complain, but it did little (really, it did nothing) to set itself apart from Cane's, but the price point being significantly better saves it.

unfortunately didnt get any photos of the food but i did of the sauce cups. all 4 cups we had looked half full and when we opened it up they were 1/3 full. even when we paid extra! not only that but the fries were definitely undercooked. and some tenders were VERY small?!? lol id just order somewhere else or make the drive & GO TO CANES where you get $2 cheaper off each box, a drink, AND GOOD QUALITY CHICKEN & FRIES, where stuff ISNT undercooked and actually a decent size.

I'm a regular customer and huge fan of Guthries. It's by far the best tender on the market. But this time the food was not at all as I've experience previously. I often write high praise reviews of Guthries. But if received cold fries and chicken that was seemingly held too long. One piece was so over cooked I couldn't eat it. Don't know what happened this time.

honestly i prefer Guthrie's over Canes, the fries are more crispy, and the toast isn't soggy
