• 25-08-27I've never eaten at Habit Burger before. But I heard U.S.A. Today rated it number one for burgers in the country--ahead of In-N-Out--two years in a row. And I love In-N-Out.
I wanted to give it a fair assessment.
I ordered
-the double charburger
-fried green beans
-onion rings
-sweet potato fries
BURGER
-It was bland, like there was zero seasoning. I had to add salt and pepper myself but it was obvious that the cook didn't salt or pepper the patties at all. Also, there was zero char taste. It was a nice meaty burger and the ratio to veggies was great. But there was zero taste, zero seasoning and one slice of American cheese, not two for a double patty burger.
FRIED GREEN BEANS
-Also had zero seasoning and they were cold
SWEET POTATO FRIES
-Also no seasoning. And cold
ONION RINGS
-they were hot and fresh. Obviously, the fries and green beans had been sitting for a while
SIRLOIN STEAK SANDWICH
-This was actually really good and seasoned and very savory. But it's a seasonal item and not their hallmark dish. But it was good and this is what saved this place from being a one star review from me
I was REALLY REALLY REALLY disappointed after all the hype and their billboards saying they've been voted better than In-N-Out for the past two years.
I have no desire to eat their burger again

• 24-01-11I enjoy the fries/onion ring combo. The onion rings were OVERFRIED, close to burned but they gave them to me anyway. The burger was good. Received as ordered.

• 24-07-11I ordered the Santa Santa Barbara Charburger, Tempura Green Beans and paid for extra Ranch, which it says on the receipt and a Large Iced Tea with ice and regular tea not tropical. The sandwich and Tempura Green Beans were delicious but the tea was tropical and warm very little ice. Only one ranch dressing and I checked to send napkins but only got 3 that were thrown on top of the Tempura Green Beans so they napkins so were spotted with oil. Also dasher name given was Vanessa but it was a guy man instead.
